SUNDAY ROASTS
Our Traditional Roasts have established quite a following and we believe The Lamplighter has all the essential ingredients for the perfect Sunday:

- Traditional home-cooked roasts and homemade desserts
- St Giles cheese boards
- A lovely garden to the rear
- Real open fire and log burner for those chilly days
- Always a superb selection of locally and nationally sourced Craft Beer, Real Ale and Craft Cider
- An impressive selection of Gins and other spirits
- A great wine selection
- Freshly ground coffee – Roasted locally at Blenders on St Giles St.
Choose from a selection of meats, two Vegetarian and a Vegan option – All served with fresh cooked vegetables, crispy roast potatoes, braised red cabbage, homemade Yorkshire and real gravy.
A great selection of homemade desserts are always available and our friends at St Giles Cheese supply our carefully chosen British cheese boards. We serve locally roasted coffee from Blenders on St Giles St.
We serve from 12pm – 7pm on Sundays and can accommodate small or large groups – we always recommend booking as we can get very busy. There is extra dining space in the upstairs Drawing Room – which is ideal for large groups.
Booking is not essential but is definitely recommended as sometimes we are fully booked on Sundays.
Please advise us if anyone in you party has any mobility issues and we’ll reserve a table on the ground floor.

CHRISTMAS MENU
BOOKING ENQUIRIES must be emailed to info@thelamplighter.co.uk with a booking date, preferred arrival and serve time, approximate amount of guests and a contact number. A manager will then get back to you as soon as possible to confirm availability, answer any questions and make a provisional reservation – Please note that bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of a £10pp deposit which can be made in person or arranged over the phone – this will need to be paid via the booking organiser – unfortunately we cannot accept individual payments.

Drink at The Lamplighter
We have won a few awards including Northants CAMRA Pub of the Season Aug 2010 and Spring 2013. The Lamplighter was also voted Northamptonshire Food & Drink Awards Community Pub of the Year 2010/11 – we came runner up in the same category for five years running. In recent years Muddy Stilettos awarded us Best Destination Pub in 2016.
We offer great beers in keg, cask and bottles from around the UK, Europe and beyond – Craft Beer and Belgian beers, German and Czech Pilsners, locally produced Craft Cider and of course loads of well sourced Real ale on our 8 hand pumps.
We regularly host beer festivals which are always backed by some great live music. We actively support local industry by sourcing local suppliers and many from regional brewers we trust.
We are proud to support CAMRA and actively promote their LocALE scheme – an initiative that encourages pubs to stock locally brewed real ale and builds on a growing consumer demand for quality local produce.
